The patient forum consists of Mrs Joan Longstaff, Mr Ken Tyerman and Mr Bert Waddington who were invited by me to set up a patient forum. The aim is to provide a independent body to debate
issues of concern that affect the people who look to the Old Links Surgery for their health care. As far as I am aware we are the first practice on the Fylde Coast to take such an initiative.
Mrs Joan Longstaff is a retired district nurse Mr Ken Tyerman is a retired civil servant Mr Bert Waddington is not a patient of the Old Links Surgery however he is the Chairman of the Fylde Primary Care Trust,
the body who is responsible for the provision of health care to the populations of St Annes, Lytham, Kirkham, Warton and Freckleton. |
